A free evening celebration of Gilbertsville Expressive Movement's 10th anniversary, from 3 to 8 PM on Saturday, August 29 at the 14-acre GEM Sculpture Park. Live music, a cruise-in classic car show, food, artisan vendors, and family fun.

Headlined by the Jimi Hendrix Jazz Trio, with Half a Pow, a trio featuring Chris Riffle, Khalil Jade, and Liam Herbert, and Dani Delwyn &The Kelvin Crows.

What to expect

Spend the afternoon and evening across 14 acres of outdoor sculpture and music. Gates open at 3 PM, rain or shine. Free parking on site and at Centennial Park: festival parking enters from the Hilton St entrance, with signs and volunteers pointing the way day of. The Bloom St entrance is reserved for vendors.

ARTISAN VENDORS

Handmade work from regional makers and artists, plus quality vintage finds.

FOOD & TREATS

Mexican, BBQ, plant-based, ice cream, cotton candy, and fair favorites

CRUISE-IN CAR SHOW

Classic and custom cars on display. Just come and show off your ride.

FAMILY FRIENDLY

Face painting, a juggler, and an open all-ages park. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket; free water station on site.

THE FREE RAFFLE

A community raffle stocked by local makers and businesses, with prizes like restaurant gift certificates, original art, and bath and beauty products, plus more added as we get closer. Your online reservation is not your raffle ticket: check in at the Ticket Booth on festival day to pick up your free raffle ticket (one per person, so everyone in your party should check in). Drawings run through the afternoon, with the final drawing at the 6:30 set change. You must be present to win. Proceeds support GEM, the Butternut Valley Food Pantry, and the Butternut Valley Pet Food Pantry.

VENDORS & CARS

Artisan vendors and classic car owners are welcome. Artisan booths are FREE for our 10th anniversary year. Standard space is 10×10; bring your own tent, table, chairs, and power, plus weights for wind. No electricity on the field; we provide internet for card payments. Handmade and original work preferred, and quality vintage and antiques are welcome. Accepted vendors get featured on our social media before the festival. All food and sweet-treat slots are booked: BBQ, Mexican, plant based, fair favorites, and an ice cream truck. Artisan booths only from here, including packaged goods like jam, honey, and maple. Applications close August 1; setup is 12 to 2 PM on festival day, and we confirm by email. Vendors handle their own sales and any New York State sales tax. Family-friendly goods only, rain or shine.
